We truly believe that this will be a rewarding experience for you, both personally and professionally. Before we begin, we'd like to make you aware of the conditions for taking this course:
As a student of our Professional Development Program and its respective courses, you must agree to the following:
- Laptop or desktop computer with microphone is required. (Headset strongly recommended)
- Only one student is allowed per instance of enrollment, and you agree not to share this course or its respective materials with other individuals.
- All of the content contained in this course (including all supporting publications, printed and otherwise) is copyrighted by its respective hard-working developers, the Academy of Interpretation.
- Reproduction and redistribution of course content and supporting publications without explicit consent of its developer is strictly prohibited.
- Course tuition is refundable for up to 14 days of enrollment, or before passing the final exam; whichever comes first.
- Please be advised that if you purchase a Language Proficiency Test course or if a Proficiency Test is included in your tuition (e.g., Professional Medical Interpreter or Bridging the Gap courses), a passing score of 80% or higher on the ILR scale is required. In the event a test is failed twice, a partial refund of your tuition can be issued, minus the processing fee for the respective Proficiency Tests.
- Extension Fee Policy: If you do not complete the course within the allotted time, you may receive a one-time, 30-day extension at no cost. If you request a 2nd extension, you will need to submit a payment of $25 to regain access to the course. Requests for additional extensions will be judged on a case-by-case basis and a payment of a minimum of $50 will be required.
